Announcing the 2023 Tour De Lombardie

The Monument is on the Move

A Historic Venue for the Prestigious Race

The prestigious Tour de Lombardie, one of cycling's five Monuments, will take place on October 8, 2023. This year, the race will start in Bergamo and finish in Como, a change from its traditional start and finish in Milan. The new route will provide riders with a challenging and scenic course through the Lombardy region of Italy.

The Tour de Lombardie is one of the most demanding one-day races on the cycling calendar. The race covers a distance of over 250 kilometers and features several challenging climbs, including the legendary Madonna del Ghisallo. The race is often decided on the final climb to the finish line, which is typically located on a steep and narrow road.

This year's race is expected to be one of the most competitive in recent years. A number of top riders, including defending champion Tadej Pogačar, are expected to compete. The race will also be a key test for riders preparing for the upcoming World Championships.
