Jamaal Charles: Former NFL Running Back and Rising Analyst

Early Life and Career

Jamaal RaShaad Jones Charles was born on December 27, 1986, in Port Arthur, Texas. After an impressive high school football career, he went on to play for the University of Texas Longhorns, where he earned All-American honors and won the Doak Walker Award as the nation's best running back in 2007.

NFL Career

Charles was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as one of the most explosive playmakers in the league, known for his exceptional speed, agility, and uncanny ability to make defenders miss. During his 11-year NFL career, Charles rushed for over 1,000 yards five times and was selected to four Pro Bowls.
